A teenage rider has now been charged following investigations into a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred in NSW earlier this year. A Toyota Aurion and a motorcycle collided about 11.30pm on Sunday 10 May 2020 on Hertford Street, Berkeley. Lake Illawarra Police Area Command officers found a 17-year-old boy and his 16-year-old female pillion passenger, suffering serious injuries. They were both treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for treatment. The male driver of a Toyota Aurion, aged 18, was also taken to hospital for mandatory testing. On Thursday 14 May 2020, the 16-year-old girl died in hospital.
