A 35-year-old Nerang motorcyclist has died after colliding with a car on the Pacific Motorway at Gaven on the Gold Coast yesterday afternoon. (27 November 2019) Police say the accident happened about 3.15pm when the man was riding southbound in heavy traffic on the Pacific Motorway. The rider was thrown into the path of another car. Despite desperate attempts by paramedics, the rider could not be saved and died at the scene. A woman in her 20s escaped with minor injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
