Todd Peisley Ride for CareFlight: The former Harley national service manager passed away in Bali in 2012 three days after his wedding. This ride honours his memory. Black Dog Ride 1 Dayer: Last year nearly 7000 riders around the country joined this ride to raise awareness of depression and suicide prevention. Since April 2010, Black Dog Ride’s 1 Dayer has raised $430,000. Registrations for the 2015 Black Dog Ride 1 Dayer on Sunday March 22 open soon. Stay tuned for more info on MotorbikeWriter.com. Meanwhile, read all about the annual Black Dog Ride to the Red centre here.
Tod Hamilton Celebration Ride: This is a celebration of the life of “a rider’s rider” who passed away last weekend. Tod was disabled for much of his adult life and his father has already passed, so his pensioner mother is left with little money and few options for a proper send-off. Riders are asked to throw a minimum of $10 into the donation bucket to support Margaret. The ride starts at the Samford Pub at 8.30am and ends at Cormorant Bay, Lake Wivenhoe. Check the route map.
