There are three months in a year when it is advantageous to buy motorcycles – January, June and December.
These are the bonus months when motorcycle companies offer big discounts, free on-road costs, free accessories, “cashback” incentives, or a combination of these. In January, motorcycle companies are keen to shift bikes that have not cleared in the Christmas rush. in June, they try to clear stock to balance the books at the end of the financial year (EOFY) and in December they offer pre-Christmas incentives to cash in on increased trade.
There is hardly a manufacturer who isn’t offering some sort of incentive at the moment and most have been featured in MotorbikeWriter.
The latest to chime into the EOFY incentives is Polaris with their Victory and Indian motorcycle brands offering free on-road costs. That means a potential saving of up to $1500 depending on which model you choose.
Victory has been running free on-road costs for a while and has now extended them for the month of June. They also offer one of the best incentives for serious buyers – take the keys to a bike for a whole weekend and they’ll throw in free accommodation and a tank of fuel.
You can click on the Victory ad at the top right of the page for more information. You can also go to the search bar at the top right of the page and type in any Victory or Indian model name and read my review.
So if you are in the market to buy a motorcycle, get down to a dealer in June!
