Moto Expo Brisbane will feature more than 100 exhibitors showcasing motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and UTVs as well as custom, vintage and classic bike displays. Visitors can see product launches, meet special guests and watch live demonstrations across the three days of the event. Almost every manufacturer will be on site, including Arctic Cat, Benelli, Bimota, BMW, BRP, Buell, Confederate, Ducati, Kawasaki, Harley-Davidson, Husqvarna, Hyosung, Indian, KTM, Piaggio, Polaris, Suzuki, Triumph, Vespa, Victory and Yamaha. Triumph will unveil their Street Triple 660 learner bike and allow learners and provisional riders to take it for a spin.


The event is being organised by Troy Bayliss Events. The three-time World Superbike champion says it’s a “new and fresh approach to motorcycle exhibitions”. “We have been working hard to create the perfect blend to showcase the motorcycle industry products and services, to enthusiasts and the wider community,” he says. “To complement Moto Expo Brisbane we are bringing such a special competitive motorcycle event to the heart of Brisbane city which is going to be phenomenal.”

It’s called the Baylisstic Scramble feature event and like the Troy Bayliss Classic in Taree last month, it will attract world-class riders. Practice for the Scramble will be held on Friday, the races will be on Saturday evening and there will be demonstration races on Sunday. there will also be support races that include, classic and vintage bikes, ATV, side by sides (UTV), mini moto, Freestyle Moto X, Trials and more. “I always look forward to dirt flat track racing. It’s where it all began for me and many other riders. Its bar-to-bar action,” Troy says.

Other show features include a Vintage and Classic display, Show ’n’ Shine, clearance sale area, and safety and educational seminars. There will also be a Hall of Fame featuring bikes, race leathers, trophies and helmets from world champions such as Troy, Chris Vermeulen, Jason Crump and others. Riders will have free undercover motorcycle parking as an added bonus.

The Moto Expo will head to Melbourne in November 28-30.
