January motorcycle sales kick start

Aprilia Caponord Touring

January is motorcycle sales month as manufacturers/importers offer discounts to get rid of stock they didn’t sell at Christmas time.

Other times during the year to buy a bike are in June when companies try to clear stock before the end of the financial year and Christmas when competition among manufacturers heats up.

Another good time to buy a particular model is just before the new model arrives as manufacturers try to get rid of old stock.

Already Aprilia, Honda and Victory Motorcycles have made significant discount offers for customers.

The Aprilia offer is ride away pricing on the following bikes:

  • Model year 2015 Aprilia Shiver Sport 750 $12K Ride Away
  • 2015 Aprilia Caponord 1200 Strada $16.5K Ride Away
  • 2015 Aprilia Caponord 1200 Touring $19K Ride Away

Riders can expect to save as much as $1500.

  1. Yes they are the rider can’t possibly control a bike properly , I have ridden with all types of handlebars and the best ones are British number 3 bars and not is the rider unable to control the motorcycle but he is leaving himself open to having a bee get into the jacket he is wearing down the sleeve and sting the crap out of him it is funny to watch some one try to do a quick stop and remove his jacket all at once .

    1. Getting stung by a bee up the sleeve is not unique to ape-hangers. I had it happen to me when on my traillie (Kawasaki KLR600). It’s the only time I have been stung and the only good thing about it was to find out that I’m not severely alergic to their sting. Actually, another good thing was find that the tweezers in my Swiss Army knife can be very useful.
